From arts and crafts to cyberspace...

The lyrical feel to the pieces is achieved by a style best described as hi-tec William Morris, a great exponent of craft based technique of the 19th century, whilst creating pieces which complement the modern technologies of the 21st.

In 1976 Michael Reed established his design and cabinet making workshop in Notting Hill, London. Much of his work over the last 30 years has been bespoke commissions from the film and digital production district of London's Soho. At the same time individual items as well as suites of furniture have been exported to Italy, Thailand, Hongkong, the Carribean and U.S.A.

The move in 2011 to a new and much larger atelier in France means that production is continuing on a grander scale to meet the increasing demand for highly individual pieces crafted to the highest spcification from the finest materials.
